When you try to activate your Norton antivirus error, the error message “Unexpected Browser error or Cannot connect to the Norton server” appears on your screen. To resolve this issue, you need to check your PC is connected to the internet or not. Restart your system. If you still face the problem on your PC powered by Windows 10 OS, change your default web browser.
To change your default web browser, follow the steps:
- Go to the Start Menu located at right bottom of your screen
- Go to the “settings” option and then “system”
- Click “Default apps”

- Go to the “Control Panel” located next to “View By”, select “Category” option from the drop-down list
- Click the “Program” option in the Control Panel section
- Now, click on “Set your default program” located beneath the “Default Programs” Section
- Under “programs” section in the section below “Set your default program” click on your preferred browser and then press “Set this program as default”
- Press “OK” to compete for the procedure
